「傳愛事工」原係國語堂之關懷事工.過去二年來,透過七個面向的關懷網，幫助許多不同需要的人,也提供教育、培訓之機會,目前已有許多傳愛的關懷天使參與關懷的行列.
2004年起教會推動五年計劃,並將部份事工列於「社區關懷」組內由劉仁欽牧師負責,如:輔導訓練、家庭婚姻講座、老人關懷等,再加上中文學校、托兒服務等事工,期將關懷事工由堂會層面擴展至全教會，甚至成為進入社區服務的關係網絡.
近來在各項事工推動中，發覺關懷事工若要有效深入紮根並進入社區，實需有一專人來負責整合推動及栽培跟進,始能永續發展發揮更大果效. 由於劉牧師曾受社會服務及輔導之專業訓練,並曾在機構事奉多年,對社區及教會間之需要與互動有深切的體會與經驗，因此在教牧及長老會的支持下, 於八月中通過,將現有之事工於2005年整合擴展為一關懷中心, 裨滿足教會與神國之需要。

Agape Caring Center is the product of the Caring Ministry from Mandarin Congregation. In the past two years, through seven sub-ministries, we were able to help many people in need. We also provided education and training opportunities. There are several "Agape Angels" serving in caring and helping the needy right now in Agape Caring Center.
In 2004, FECSGV started a Five Year Plan. Pastor Samuel Liu was in charge of several tasks in the Community Ministry in the Five Year Plan. Our goal is that caring ministry tasks within each congregation can be moved forward as a whole among the three congregations.
From past experience, we feel that in order to expect realistic result and to deeply root the community caring tasksin the cumminity, it is necessary to have someone fully in charge of such a ministry. Because Pastor Liu has had past training in social services and has worked in several different non-profit organizations, the pastoral staff and elder board support him to start such a ministry in order to continue with the followups and planning new programs to help to spread God's kingdom in our community. Agape Caring Center launched in January, 2005.
We are thankful that God's spirit and His blessing are within us as we take a step in faith to start this new ministry. Our only goal is to glorify our Lord in everything we do.
