Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jack who loved a girl named Christina and he asked her to marry him.  They tied the knot on Sunday, May 30 at Irvine Presbyterian Church in front of their families and friends.  Jack, being the musician he is, serenaded Christina down the aisle to Michael Buble’s “Hold On”.

Christina looked breathtaking from the top of her gorgeous bridal headband to the tips of her “something blue” heels. And of course everyone was delighted to see Ethan Shih as the ring bearer.

After witnessing the newlyweds kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Chang and receive their blessings from Pastor Ken Wong, the wedding party moved to the reception, hosted at Celebrations by Turnip Rose.

There was a dance floor, a photo booth complete with cowboy hats and boas, a delicious buffet, a fabulous ice cream sundae bar, a strawberry stand filled with chocolate-dipped strawberries and a beautiful and delicious 3-tiered wedding cake.  And if that wasn’t enough to keep us entertained, the brother of the groom, Peter Chang, gave a winning speech that most of us aren’t likely to forget any time soon (She-Ra, anyone?)

True to Chinese tradition, the couple had a private tea ceremony and later in the evening Christina changed twice –first into an embroidered chi-pao and then to a one-shoulder white silk cocktail dress. The happy couple danced and toasted the night away, and now they’re living their happily ever after.
