50 Days of Vibrant Community: Pastor Ken and the team will speak on creating vibrant communities [small groups] in our congregation. It is our hope that 80% of our people will commit to be a part of a group and use their gifts to grow their community. Imagine Heaven: What is heaven really going to be like? What will we look like? What will we do? Who will you bring with you to heaven? How will you live if you have heaven in your mind? We will find answer to these questions in E-7 at 11:30 a.m.

ThrYve Community: Come fellowship with other young adults and study the book of 1 Corinthian this Friday. Contact Tiffany Lin at squeakypoof@gmail.com for more info.

Family Life Community: We’re currently focused on “Building Community.” We are watching videos, playing games, and spending time to share, pray, and support one another. Join us at 8 p.m. in E-8. Contact John Shao at john_shao@yahoo.com.

Women’s Community: We meet on the second and fourth Saturday of the month at Anni’s home, 8:30 a.m. Contact Anni for more info: wonganniy@yahoo.com. The group is discussing “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren.

Sunday Community: Sundays at 1:30 p.m. at the Cheng residence. Contact Paul at paul.c.cheng@gmail.com or Jack hijack@gmail.com for info. We are using Kay Arthur’s book “How to Study the Bible” this fall.

Light House Community: Meet at Andrew and Liz’s home on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Temple City. Contact Andrew at Andrewlamcpa@yahoo.com. They are studying “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren.

Next Baptism: If you would like to get baptize on March 15 please sign up for a class with pastor Ken.

YOUTH

Sunday Service: Pastor Ben continues the sermon on the mount series TODAY. We will have a combined communion service in Chapel 2 on 02.23 at 9:30 a.m. Let's prepare our hearts.

Sunday school: All Sunday school classes resume at 11:30 a.m. TODAY.Pastor Ben will teach all junior high class in E-9. Auntie Anni, auntie Vicky, and auntie Virginia will teach Freshman and Sophomore class in E-10. Dr. Glenn will teach Junior and Senior class in pastor Ben's office.

Friday Night Fellowship: We will have our regular small group on 02.21. Let's meet at 8:00 p.m. in youth center. We will have a special guest speaker to share about serving God for special friends in our youth ministry.

Youthnew website: Send your personal testimony to Ethan. May it be a blessing to others this year.

Baptism Class: Our new baptism class begins at 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. TODAY. Talk to your parents and Pastor Ben after the service to join in.

SENA: February SENA edition is available. Pick up your own copy at Pastor Ben's office after the service.

Church Office Close: Monday Presidents’ Day (2/17) is a public holiday. Church Office will be closed.

Church Response to COVID-19 (the new name given by WHO to the Wuhan Coronavirus): Please pray for those who are infected with the virus. Stay informed of the latest updates and prevention guidelines through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website (www.cdc.gov). Regarding this epidemic and church response, please read the Church’s letter dated 1/28 which was put as insert on 2/2 Sunday Bulletin. Please follow these three guidelines: (1) If you are not feeling well (cold, fever, cough, difficulty breathing), please promptly seek medical care and refrain from attending church; (2) If you have recently been to an infected area recently, when you return to US, please wait 14 days before you return to the church to attend small groups or church services. (3) Avoid physical contact when greeting one another at church gathering (such as handshakes or hugs). We have installed hand-sanitizing stations at church for your convenient use.

Donation for Wuhan Coronavirus Relief: The church will collect donation for “Wuhan Coronavirus Relief." The church is now in close contact with suitable partner churches and Christian disaster relief agencies. We hope to send the donations or resources to the disaster areas to support the local church relief work. Up to last Sunday 2/9, we have collected a total of $6,285 donation.

2019 Offering Receipt: The church has sent out 2019 offering receipt. If you have not received it, please contact the church administration office. If you changed your address, please let us know. Thank you.

1. FECA Global Missions

Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting FECA Global Missions in your prayers and through your giving.The Global Missions Ministry is a vast and challenging work. Your generosity supports church growth and outreach in tangible ways, such asoverseas church planting efforts, ministries in discipleship, evangelism, training and mobilizing leaders, and community development and caring among refugees around the world.

It has been a struggle to meet our financial commitments in 2019. Contributions to both the General Missions Fund and the Sending Fund did not meet our budget, and there was a deficit.

2. 2020 Spiritual Formation Conference Postponed

FECA received a notice on 2/11 from Rev. Alan Chai, speaker of the SMF Conference, that due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus in various cities. Rev. Chai decided to cancel/postpone his North America tours. Updated details will be announced later.

3. Novel Coronavirus Precautionary Guidelines

In order to prevent the outbreak of novel coronavirus in our churches and communities, FECA suggests all member churches create precautionary guidelines and policies for Sunday services and meetings and distribute them through the church bulletin and any other appropriate methods. Each member church can modify the precautionary guidelines and policies from the LA County Public Health and Education Department according to its own unique situation. We hope every brother and sister will cooperate to ensure the safety of the church and the community. May the Lord protect all of us and bless us with good health. Thanks for your cooperation.
